Happy Halloween everyone!

It’s October 31st, which means that it is officially the holiday season, and I couldn’t be more excited.  The holidays mean time to relax, not do homework all of the time, the start of basketball season (yay!) and more time to read, which is something I haven’t really gotten to do lately.

These past couple months went well, in my opinion, but most of my reviews were of books I read last year and never had time to type up, because I didn’t have time to actually sit down and read.  Here are some of the highlights of this fall so far!

Book Reviews

Donnybrook, by Frank Bill (3 stars)- Bareknuckle fighting, sex, drugs, and blood, what more could you want?  (NSFW book)

The Road, by Cormac McCarthy (3 stars)- In this apocalyptic world, a man and his son fight to overcome the odds, and develop their bond

Shadow Divers, by Robert Kurson (4 stars)- A true story of two deep sea divers, their WWII amazing discovery, and their relationship

Revelation, by Flannery O’Connor (5 stars)- A short story about a woman and her observations of people, and how this affects her

Other Highlights

  • I have the most views on my blog EVER today, which is awesome! It’s over 50 and keeps going up! Thank you all for reading and sharing what I post!
  • I started posting my novel, and plan to do so once a week.  I’m still working on everything and would love comments.
  • Editing services have reopened, meaning that if anyone needs help with what they’re writing I would be glad to read it and give advice
  • In the same vain, I am looking for authors/bloggers who want to be featured!

I think we’ve had a really successful 2 months, and I am excited to continue… my first full year is coming up really quickly, and I’m so proud of how my blog has grown 🙂
