Yay!! This is my 3rd award received in about 2 months, and I couldn’t be more excited!!! It’s such an honor to be recognized by so many different people. This particular award was given to me by Kristen @ The Brunette Bookworm Blog, which is an especially large honor, because she is one of my all time favorite book bloggers, so thank you so so so much!
The Rules…
1. Thank the blogger who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
2. Write a post to show your award.
3. Give a brief story of how your blog started.
4. Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers.
5. Select other bloggers you want to give this award to.
6. Comment on each blog and let them know you have nominated them and provide the link to the post you created.
How I Started…
I feel like my story is kind of different than a lot of other people. I had never even heard of book blogging (I didn’t even know a blogging community existed) but I DID know that whenever I needed to write an analysis of a book for school, I would be able to find a blog or website that gave me those extra pieces of information that I missed and made my reports AMAZING. It just so happened that I had just written a literary analysis for In the Heart of the Sea, I was bored, and I wanted to be one of those people who were googled for school assignments. Idk why, don’t ask. So I made a blog, livelovereads. Then I found the blogging community, and decided that I hated that blog, so I deleted it and made readandwritethroughthenight. Well, that was too long and that also kind of sucked, and I stopped posting for a month. So I stockpiled posts, deleted everything, and made Write Through the Night, which is the blog you see today!
2 Pieces of Advice…
Yay I love giving advice!! My number one thing would be to make sure that you interact with other bloggers by commenting and following a lot of people. Like their posts, leave nice messages, and don’t be afraid to get involved in collabs and stuff. I found one of my all time favorite blogs, Call me Ash (formerly Teenella) through a huge blogger secret santa thing, and I met Shania through a group collab. I love both these girls, and would never have met them if I had been too afraid to ask to join in! Everyone is so nice, so reach out!!
Number 2– social media. You’ve probably heard this a lot but I cannot overstate the importance of Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, Bloglovin’ and other social media sites. If you are a book blogger, get yourself listed on all of the book blogger listings, and you will get A TON more review requests, which helps your blog overall. I personally use Bloglovin’ only occasionally, but people are really successful with it. Twitter is my #1, and I get the most traffic through that. Plus, you meet other bloggers who might not be WordPress (or blogspot if you use that) but have incredible blogs. Even though it takes up some degree of time, it’s worth it.
Nominations…
Make sure if you accept this award you comment with the link to your post, because I would love to read them!!

I’ve visited a few blogs that boast a love for books and I definitely notice the tightly bound community. It’s so special that a blog has the ability to connect people, passions and places.
You are obviously passionate about books and reading, and that really comes through in your writing!

thank you!! I don’t know what I would do without all of the incredible people I’ve met through the book community, each and every person is so amazingly nice and ready to be friends.
